Clearly, to operate our services we need to collect some personal information about you. This policy explains what we do and why we do it.
What information do we collect?
Spark - Campfire for Windows collects personal information from you, such as name and email address, when you sign up with your Campfire account using app. We also track some of the actions you take in app in order to improve the service. Additionally we always collect error reports which don't contain any personal identifiable information.
What do we use your information for?
We use that information to improve overall app experience, sending occasional newsletters, alerts and troubleshoot errors.
Who we share the information with
To help us deliver Spark we use following 3rd party services:
Using Spark App requires a Campfire account. All Campfire chats are handled by 37signals via their servers. You can find out more by reading the 37signals security overview.
We use Mixpanel Analytics to collect personal information from you for analytics purposes.
We use Loggy to collect error reports. Those reports do not contain personal identifiable information.
What we don't and won't ever do
Share your data with other Spark users.
Share, sell or rent your data to anyone outside Spark development team.
How to opt out from collecting personal information?
You may choose to opt out of collecting personal identifiable information at any time. To do so, open General settings pane in Spark App and switch off 'Help improve Spark' toggle. It will prevent of sending information to Mixpanel service.
